SAFETY!!!!

Our mobile grooming unit is equipped with nothing but safety in mind.  From the time your pampered pet enters the unit to the time he or she is walked or carried out, your loved one will be in the most caring and safest of hands.  On board you will find a first aid kit for dogs, a first aid booklet and fire extinguishers.  “That’s great” you say, “but does anyone know how to use them?”  Blue Dog Bathing Co. has had extensive training in first aid for dogs.  We are very capable should a situation arise.  We have a strict “Hand On” policy.  This policy states that one hand must be on the dog at all times!

Blue Dog Bathing Co. also has several different pieces of equipment which aid in the safety of your dog as well.  Our unit is equipped with a ramp so that bigger dogs do not have to try to jump up into the van.  Our electric grooming table starts at 6” from the ground to accommodate bigger dogs, or dogs that may have hip problems.  This table can hold weights of up to 250lbs.  The bathing tub is equipped with safety ties which are connected to the tub to alleviate the possibility of your dog jumping out and getting hurt.  Our grooming table is equipped with a specific safety system to allow your dog to be groomed safely and comfortably.  This system can be configured in several ways including the use of a full or half body sling for older dogs or dogs with bad hips.

Our equipment is sanitized after each groom.  Everything from shears, to clipper blades, combs and brushes.  Our grooming table is sanitized before grooming and after your dog has been prepped for its bath, after all, what’s the sense in putting a perfectly clean dog on a dirty table?  Another benefit of mobile grooming, you don’t have to worry about whose dog was in your dog’s kennel before him or her, and what could they transmit to your dog.
